Hi fellow foodies. I wish I had the time to be active in this group. My
first passion is cooking and dining out. I live in Syracuse, N. Y. and
we are fortunate to have many good restaurants around our area. However,
my favorite thing to do is to travel and seek out great restaurants. I
guess topping the list has to be Taillevaunt, in Paris. I may not have
the spelling correct but I can tell you it was a once in lifetime
experience. Our traveling has been put on hold as I am working hard to
promote my new webstore. I wanted to invite you all to stop by my page
and check out my store.
I thought you all might be especially interested because I have funky
and unique tableware. I started in 1996. I love to entertain and setting
a beautiful table is really important to me. I could never find things
that I thought were really cool, so I started doing my own. I search for
unusual and high quality pieces and hand paint them. My stuff is not
your average painted glass, most of which I don't care for. I do my work
for people who have a passion for entertaining in style. I have
developed quite a following in cental New York, where I have up until
now sold my work primarily at jurried art shows. People from
all over the country travel to the fingerlakes, which is a pretty
incredible and little known area. Now for the important stuff, food for
Christmas eve. I am making a couple things I thought some of you might
be interested in because they are what my husband calls "keepers". Sweet
potato rolls and spicy grilled prime rib. If anyone is interested in the
recipies, let me know. Merry Christmas to you all. This was pretty long
winded for me, but then it is 4:40 in the morning, I couldn't sleep!
