Our entry in The Taste of Scotland Guide reads,

award winning restaurant" Built originally as part of the Atholl Estate around 300 years ago, East Haugh is a turreted stone house, standing in it's own gardens. It is run by Neil and Lesley McGown who bought the property in 1989 and have converted it sympathetically. They are helped by their two daughters and all aim to offer a very personal service. Both Neil and Lesley are keen fishermen and Neil also shoots and stalks - these are encouraging pastimes for Neil who is the chef, since the bag or catch often appear on the menu. There is a great deal of food on offer at East Haugh, with children's menus, lunch time bistro style menus and those offered in The Gamekeeper's Restaurant for dinner. The lunch dishes are very wide ranging and are prepared to order; dinner is a more formal affair, with a well-composed menu which changes every two days and features local produce."

The Conservatory Bar

Open 7 days a week in season, for both lunch and dinner, we offer an exciting and interesting range of bar food, using solely fresh local produce, some from our own vegetable garden crop.

Meals can be taken either in the Conservatory Bar or outside in the gardens or patio.

There is a 2 course childrens menu @ £4.95.

There are weekend lunches only from September to Easter

Our Restaurant

Our Restaurant is open 7 evenings a week and offers a Set Price Menu of £27.95.

We also offer a daily Specials Menu for both Restaurant & Conservatory Bar, featuring delicious Seafood from the Western Isles, Lobster, Mussels, Surf Clams, Dover Soles etc.

When in season, plenty of Local Grouse, Pheasant Venison etc often shot by Chef/Proprietor, Neil McGown, are on the menu.
